Twitter in Dublin is to double its workforce by the end of 2014, creating 100 new jobs.
By the end of next year, Twitter plans to employ 200 people at its EMEA HQ in Dublin and is actively seeking 30 new people to immediately fill roles in sales, HR, finance, marketing and engineering.
Globally, the company is preparing for a stock market flotation (IPO). It is expected the real time network and media company will float for over $10 billion.
The world’s first ‘Tweetie’ awards will be held in Dublin on October 2nd. The #RaboTweeties aims to celebrate the very best of Twitter in Ireland – individual users and organisations who inspire and influence people on Twitter.
