e-Readers are all the rage, with much of the hype focused on Amazon’s Kindle and Apples Tablet. Both these products willskiff-ereader ship later in the year and are set to become hugely successful. Spare a thought for Hearst’ Skiff e-Reader, also shipping later in the year, as it enters what is sure to be an uber competitive space. Bearing this in mind Hearst have differentiated themselves with a really nifty physical attribute and by concentrating on delivering newspaper and magazine content as opposed to books.

What really caught our attention is how The Skiff replicates some of that good old fashioned touch and feel of the newspaper and magazine world. It’s bendy. Jump to the 360 degree view here, early reviews are positive and it looks very cool. Official launch is next week at a technology show in Las Vegas, no details on price or retail delivery just yet.
