The Social Network is a film about Facebook’s early days and Mark Zuckerburg’s rise to fame and [at times] infamy. With such great lines as, “They don’t want you they want your idea”, and “A million dollars isn’t cool, you know what’s cool? A billion dollars”, this trailer suggests the founding of Facebook was akin to the foundation of a new world order. Well, maybe it was. The Social Network hits the big screen in the US in October. Columbia Pictures has released the film’s first teaser trailer. Not the most interesting trailer ever conceived. It will, however, be interesting to see what line the film takes and if its pure fiction or not … and what impact it will have on Facebook itself.
