A team of four final year creative students from DCU has won the The Digital Hub’s Best in Show competition.
Now in its fourth year, Best in Show is a competition for final-year creative students, who are invited to submit samples of their work to The Digital Hub for assessment by a team of digital media industry experts.
Diarmaid Keane from Rathcoole, Co. Dublin; Shane Brennan from Portlaoise; Shane Doyle from Wicklow town, and Aaron Chalke from Ballintubber, Co. Mayo won €1,000 and work placements this summer with Red Diamond Media for their series of short films.
The four students – who were classmates in the BSc in Multimedia course at DCU – produced a series of short films for broadcast on www.pashli.org, the website of the charity Pashli, which works with orphans and the elderly in Belarus.
