Nokia will host a full 3D audio visual show at its new stage at this year’s Oxegen Festival. The 100 sq m full HD screen, one of the largest mobile screens in the world, will feature DJs, VJs, a festival TV channel and 3D VJ pioneers, NOVAK.
The 3D Disco will run on Friday and Saturday night at the Nokia Live Stage, located in the Blue Campsite, and will include a visual mash-up of classic festival music videos, house, electro and movies.
The 3D glasses will be distributed through the Nokia Pop-up Store on Grafton Street from Tuesday 29th June, with limited numbers available from the Nokia Live Stage.
Nokia Festival TV, which runs from 12 noon each day, will be an interactive experience. Festival goers can text a short code and then their video choice and a short message will appear on screen. They may also choose their favourite Oxegen tracks for Nokia Festival TV in the lead-up to the festival through the Nokia Live Stage Facebook page and a specially designed App.
