Opel’s new app and another Done Deal

Opel has launched a new iPhone App for drivers. The Opel FlexApp offers tools to help with everything from parking and shopping to finding the right play-list to suit the driver’s mood.
Available to download for free from the App Store, it can help users find parking spaces, keep track of the time left on the parking metre and remember where their car is parked.
The ‘Hot Spot’ function helps drivers to select points of interest and contact details for amenities such as restaurants and hotels. Users can be guided to their preferred location via routing, and they can choose between the fastest and shortest routes and export the configuration to Google Maps. The app can also assist in creating shopping lists and finding the best shops. You can download it here:

In other news eircom.net has launched a new Classifieds Channel in partnership with DoneDeal.ie. Essentially visitors to eircom.net’s Lifestyle Content section can now access the full suite of buy and sell items available from DoneDeal.ie. eircom.net is one of Ireland’s busiest sites with 1.2 million unique monthly visitors.
For DoneDeal.ie, the content partnership agreement marks its first such deal with an ISP. Fred Karlsson, co-founder of DoneDeal.ie, said, “We are very pleased to be extending the reach of the DoneDeal.ie service and are confident that our presence on the site will attract more users. We see this initiative as an important new channel to promote the DoneDeal.ie brand.”
