Vodafone launches device to boost mobile 3G signals

Vodafone Ireland has announced its intention to launch ‘Sure Signal’ a plug & play device that improves 3G mobile phone coverage in homes and small offices.
Users can avail of up to four concurrent calls at any one time and allow up to 10 users access to their Sure Signal device.
“It is a solution for customers who have no signal or limited signal at home or in the office due to local environmental or topographical factors,” says Stefano Gastaut, Consumer Director, Vodafone Ireland.
The device will go on sale in mid February. Vodafone customers can register their interest in Sure Signal at www.vodafone.ie/suresignal. Specific pricing and availability will be announced in detail in coming weeks. The units will retail at under €100 as a once off charge with no ongoing rental.
