Independent Digital wants more video

Independent Digital has launched an online Video Management System (VMS) to attract more users but also to facilitate more video display ads.
The VMS means Independent Digital can offer advertisers/brand managers the ability to target their video campaigns by audience profile. New video advertising formats including text ads, MPUs and leaderboards will be offered to advertisers.
A video sharing facility allows users to share video with their social sites. All videos can be played and viewed across Independent Digital’s mobile, iPhone and iPad apps.
“Making sure we delivered a video solution on all platforms, especially iPhone and iPad, was a key goal for us,” said Ian Byrne, CEO, Independent Digital. “At the moment a lot of the mass market video solutions simply do not work on the Apple platform which is a big disappointment for readers and advertisers.”
