On Friday, the 15th of April 2011, Pegbar, the social network for animators in Ireland will host a series of short talks, in the Science Gallery, Naughton Institute, Pearse Street, Dublin 2. The event aims to give attendees an insight into the creativity and technology behind video animation.
The organisers describe this as, “A must for any fan of animation or for people who are interested in working in the industry.”
The guest speakers will include, Norton Virgien (Director of Rugrats and Duckman), Jason Tammemägi (Director of Fluffy Gardens and Ballybraddan) and renowned multimedia artist Fergal Brennan.
After the series of talks, ticket holders can repair to the Trinity Inn for a few drinks, view some animations on screen and indulge in some real life social networking.
