‘Appy Redwind lands Heineken USA

Irish firm Redwind Software has just landed a very nice contract – it will be looking after all the mobile and app business for Heineken USA.
Redwind Software was established in 2008 by Conor Winders and David McMahon, and is a games and software development studio based in Dublin. At last year’s Appys the company won the “Best Business Solutions App (SmartGrid)” and “Best Entertainment/Gaming App (Movie Challenge)” categories.
The company initially created two very successful apps for Heineken USA – the ‘Heineken Light Challenge’ and the ‘Heineken Music Challenge’. So impressed was Heineken it employed the Irish company to look after all its mobile business.
“From the start we felt that Redwind Software had the edge over many of their competitors, both here in the US and abroad. We started with just the one app created by Redwind Software but now they handle all our promotional mobile app business,” says Frank Polley, Heineken USA.
“Securing a contract with a company as big as Heineken has been such a boost for Redwind. We are hugely proud of how far we have come in such a short space of time,” says Conor Winders, founder of Redwind Software.
Redwind also recently secured big contracts with Bacardi USA, Grey Goose and Bombay Sapphire.
