Mazda’s latest print campaign in the Metro Herald utilises augmented reality (AR). Readers must download a dedicated app on their smart phones, called Junaio, to enter a competition to win a new Mazda2. Using the app, readers can hold their smartphone over the ads that appear in a Mazda takeover edition of the newspaper, to watch a selection of Mazda videos. They have to then visit the Mazda Ireland Facebook page to answer a simple question, based on the video, to enter the draw to win a car worth €15,000. The competition runs until 25th May.
