NDRC CEO Ben Hurley speaking at the recent Catalyser event

The NDRC (National Digital Research Centre) is looking for Irish businesses to collaborate with its researchers through its Catalyser investment programme.
The focus is on developing digital products for health, education, entertainment and green tech markets.
NDRC’s remit is to enable company and research collaborators “with a clear vision and collective know-how” to develop intellectual property through to commercial success. In other words, take an idea, develop it and ensure there’s a market for the final product/service.
Sean O’Sullivan, CEO Rococo Software Ltd and NDRC collaborator created an original export-driven product. “NDRC worked with Rococo and UCD on the development of the LocalSocial proximity platform. We are now marketing the LocalSocial proximity platform, and have been able to target this at an international market.”
