Android apps are more open and prone to malware than iOS (Apple) apps

More than six billion applications have been downloaded from the Android Market to date. However, Symantec’s latest Internet Security Threat Report, identified nearly four times as many unique-to-Android pieces of malware than the previous year. In other words, Android apps are more open and prone to malware than iOS (Apple) apps.
Help is at hand though. The Norton Mobile Security Lite app (Android) promises to protect confidential information and offer basic mobile protection.
