Back in August, Google said it was going to rebuild the back end of Blogger, its blogging solution. Well, it did and all we can say is well done. Very cool. The new update ‘Dynamic views’ should give WordPress, Tumblr and even Facebook something to think about.
There are seven new templates and they all look good. They are more interactive, they look like a lot of thought went into their design and they’re much faster too (by 40%). Google is right in thinking this greater speed will encourage people to interact with blogs more.
The new Blogger with Dynamic Views could be described as a revolution in online publishing but only when we see how many people use the solution. Google says there will be more ways to customise Dynamic views released in the coming weeks. We look forward to playing around with it.
