Foursquare passed one billion check-ins last week on its service. Not bad for a company launched in 2009. The location-based social network recently integrated five new languages which opened up the platform to over 1.5 billion people.
To celebrate its one billionth check in and its new mobile app, foursquare created this video – it’s a ‘birds eye’ view of the world as it experiences foursquare check-ins.
