Concern Worldwide will host the 10th annual NetHope Global Member Summit at the Intel Innovation Centre in Leixlip, Co. Kildare from 7th to 11th of November 2011.This international summit will bring together chief information officers (CIOs) and other technology leaders from the non-profit sector, and senior management and executive leadership from leading technology companies.
Vincent Richardson, chief information officer at Concern Worldwide (and a member of the Board of Directors of NetHope) says that hosting the event is a coup for both Concern and Ireland.
“Being asked to host the 10th anniversary of the summit here in Ireland underlines the fact that Concern’s commitment to the best use of technology and innovation is highly regarded internationally and our expertise in this area is recognised both by those within and outside the humanitarian development sector,” according to Mr Richardson. “It also highlights Ireland’s position as a key player in the ICT arena. It is a good news story.”
