Barry’s Tea enjoyed some real fan engagement with its recent Facebook campaign. The campaign, devised by Thinkhouse PR, asked Barry’s Tea Facebook fans to change their Facebook profile pictures – a big ask by any standards. However, over 500 Facebook fans offered to rebrand their personal Facebook profile pictures with a Barry’s Tea branded one.
With an average of 130 friends per Facebook user, an estimated 65,000 Irish Facebook users will interact with the brand.
‘We know our fans are loyal, but the uptake of this overwhelmed us. We’ve over 43,000 fans on Facebook and we’re so lucky that they are all so passionate and loyal,” says Camille O’Flanagan, marketing manager of Barry’s Tea.
