Magnet WebTV has been rebranded and re-booted. It’s now called Aertv.ie, it’s now registration-free and has a better interface.The eleven channels include RTÉ One, RTÉ Two, TV3, TG4 and 3e as well as, RTÉ One + 1, RTÉ News Now, RTÉ jr, France 24, Russia Today and Dáil Éireann.
There is also “Ireland’s first live music channel, Aertv Music”. The service will broadcast live events and home-produced content. The first live event broadcast will kick off tonight with indie rock event of the year, Hard Working Class Heroes. Aertv Music will live stream selected gigs from the 100 bands playing in and around a number of venues in Dublin over the three day music event. Coverage starts tonight from the Grand Social at 7pm.
There is an integrated Twitter and Facebook facility on the service.

We’ve teamed up with the Hard Working Class Heroes Festival to launch our dedicated music channel. It’s the first of many genre channels we’ll be offering free to our audiences,” says

71 per cent of people in Ireland now watch TV programmes on their laptops and PCs, and one in five (20 per cent) do so regularly. This rises to 89 per cent for those aged 18-25, with 58 per cent regularly watching TV on their computers.
