Fancy yourself as the next Jamie or Gordon or Donal or Darina? YouTube has launched a program looking for ‘the stars of tomorrow’, specifically in this case the YouTube ‘Next Chef’ and the YouTube ‘Next Trainer’.
Starting today, people from Ireland, Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States can apply at youtube.com/NextChef and youtube.com/NextTrainer, which also includes all rules and details.

Money and mentoring
Each program will have sixteen winning participants who will then take part in a three month virtual class held on Google+ Hangouts. The chefs and trainers who are selected will each receive equipment kit worth more than $5,000, mentoring from industry leaders, filming and editing lessons and more than $10,000 worth of promotion on YouTube.
On November 9th YouTube will announce the selected chefs and trainers.
