As part of this government’s public sector reform, the Digital Hub Development Agency will be merged with either Enterprise Ireland or the IDA in 2012.The Digital Hub Development Agency says the merger will involve a transition of the management of the Digital Hub but this, it said, “will not impact on the tenancy arrangements and supports for the companies based at The Digital Hub”.
The Digital Hub cluster today comprises 80 companies, employing 700 people in a growth sector – internet / digital media.
“It’s important to point out that The Digital Hub remains open for business, and will continue to do so beyond any merger. We will continue to serve existing tenants and facilitate prospective tenants on the site,” says Philip Flynn, CEO of the Digital Hub.
