The National Digital Research Centre (NDRC) has invited venture capital (VC) and angel investors to join the audience at the ‘Lift-Off’ half day competition taking place at the NDRC on the 8th December from 8.30am.
15 early stage digital start-up companies currently participating in NDRC’s LaunchPad Accelerator will pitch to a panel of committed venture capital investors and will network with the investor-only audience members.
“Pitching companies have been through a rigorous accelerator process that has included mentoring, business plan modelling, micro-seed investment, weekly workshops and networking opportunities – they are now ready to launch to market. Already one participating company – Redeem&Get – has won the ‘Spark of Genius’ accolade at the Dublin Web Summit. These emerging start-ups can offer an Angel or VC a [less risky] investment option that will launch a product or service to a defined market in a short time period,” says NDRC CEO Ben Hurley.
