A new iOS (Apple) app allows users to create their own iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch apps within minutes.Appatista works by just transforming any RSS feed into an app. Once the app is created from the RSS feed it is available for the user to share via email, Twitter, Facebook or any other social media platform.
Obviously the apps will only be as good as the content taken from the site’s RSS feed but it’s a handy tool for those who run very niche blogs and want a quick promotional app without having to pay for one. The app would also suit small book publishers or magazine publishers who want to create iPad apps for promotions.
Also, the apps created by the Appatista app are shared, rather than downloaded from the Apple app store. This means they don’t have to go through the lengthy app store approval process. It also means you won’t be able to sell your app. The Apple app store doesn’t allow apps created using RSS feeds.
