Wi-Fi firm Bitbuzz has signed a deal with Questzones that will see Questzones resell the Bitbuzz service to retail outlets, restaurants and pubs.
“We spent the last 12 months looking at potential partners and QuestZones, which has a very good reputation and provides a professional service, was the best option. The demand for Wi-Fi is changing, and consumers require reliable, affordable and fast Wi-Fi access at all times. We want to bring Wi-Fi access to the next stage in Ireland and look forward to working with QuestZones to help achieve this,” says Shane Deasy, managing director, Bitbuzz.
The deal will also help Bitbuzz extend its Wi-Fi service in the retail space to facilitate the increasing demand from smartphone users who are using the smartphones as they shop, not just to research products but to share deals with their social networks. Research has shown that shops with good Wi-Fi access benefit, as shoppers feel they can stay longer, browse more and brands can also potentially target shoppers via their smartphones with deals and offers.
