Cirquit.tv is an interesting new Irish media platform. Essentially, it’s an event guide – movies, gigs, plays and concerts – but it also acts as a portal to buy tickets for all the events featured. It also shows preview videos of most of the events to whet the customer’s appetite.
It is purely visual, using the event organiser’s visual material to show what’s going to happen and where. This cuts down on editorial costs for the platform.
It’s easy to use, designed for mobile and desktop and is ad free.
“This allows the user to focus on the content, creating a clean online environment, far from the noise of the web,” says co-founder Fedoua Errizani. “For entertainment companies, Cirquit creates a new centralised marketplace.”
Cirquit.tv is two years in development but looks and feels very established. Co-founders Fedoua Errizani and Ger Meade say Dublin is just the beginning with plans to develop further features for the platform and other Cirquits in capital cities around the world.
Cirquit is available on mobile and desktop and as touchscreens in Dundrum and Henry Street HMV Stores in Dublin.
The platform was designed and developed by Isobar Dublin, part of the global Dentsu Aegis Network.
