Portfolio Night is the world’s largest simultaneous advertising portfolio review event and takes place May 23. In Dublin the event is hosted by, and held at the offices of, the Ogilvy Group, 6 Ely Place, Dublin 2.
The worldwide event, devised by ihaveanidea.org, sees thousands of aspiring advertising copywriters, art directors and designers meet with the industry’s advertising creative directors in a fast-paced evening of advice, networking and recruitment. It’s like speed dating you and your portfolio around a room full of industry heavy weights. Each participant will receive three 15-minute portfolio review sessions with three of the country’s most prominent creative directors.
“For us, the opportunity to host this event allows us to provide a stepping stone for the next generation of creative talent, giving them access to the industry’s top creative leaders to improve their portfolios and get valuable face time and build contacts that could ultimately lead to careers in the business,” says Dave Smyth, managing director, Ogilvy Dublin.
