It’s Engineers’ Week, this week – Sunday, 9th February to Sunday, 15th February.

This is an annual campaign to highlight the possibilities of a career in engineering.

There are over 500 events taking place nationwide, most of which are free and pre booking is advised; to find out more visit EngineersWeek.ie.

“During the week we wish to inspire many students to become engineers, in the hope that one day they may be the people sustaining our communities by creating medical devices, inventing new technologies, maintaining our water and energy supplies, to name just a few of the possible accomplishments,” says John Power, director general, Engineers Ireland.
