London.com is the first major project to come out of the Dublin-based Lucey Investment Fund which was established in 2011. The site is aimed at both visitors to the city as well as Londoners and will provide info on events, restaurants, transport, accommodation, attractions and more for the city its surrounding areas.

Launched just in time for the Summer Olympic Games, London will provide a guide to ‘What’s Hot’ in the city, allow customers to do price comparisons on hotels and promote special offers from  theatres, tour operaters and gig promoters.

“This is a hugely exciting project which I believe the leisure and tourism industry in London is crying out for,” said founder Callum McLean who is the former commercial director of Visit London.

The Lucey Investment Fund began working with London.com in early 2012. “We were able to put the technical infrastructure in place to get the product to market and support its growth”, said Ian Lucey, Lucey Technology’s CEO. “It is an exciting project and with the games in London this summer, the timing is just right”, he added.

Lucey Technology open up a full team of specialists in Design, Architecture, Development, Sales & Marketing to entrepreneurs upon investment. The Lucy Investment Fund is a new twist on angel and seed investment in that its investment is part cash and part development.
