Anne O’Leary is the new Vodafone Ireland CEO. O’Leary joined Vodafone Ireland from BT Ireland in 2008 as enterprise director and expanded the company’s product offering to Irish businesses.

O’Leary also formed the ‘Women’s Network’ at Vodafone Ireland with “the goal of enhancing diversity and attracting and retaining top talent”.

O’Leary was recently re-elected to the board of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce and serves on the board of University College Cork.

She began her career in telecommunications with ESAT in Cork and later became manager of BT’s Global Service business. Before joining Vodafone she was managing director of BT’s SME Business in Ireland.

O’Leary replaces Jeroen Hoencamp who was appointed executive director of Cable & Wireless Worldwide and enterprise director at Vodafone UK.
