Classified ads site, DoneDeal.ie has launched a new Android app and upgraded its iOS app to allow users to upload posts. Both apps allow users to browse the DoneDeal website, where they can find anything from cars, to houses, clothes, electronic equipment and even pets.

“We are very happy to welcome the Android App to our DoneDeal app family. We launched the iPhone app to great success last year and it has stayed in the Top 50 free apps ever since,” says John Warburton, CEO of DoneDeal.

The apps provide the full functionality of the website including the ability to browse and search for ads, save favourites and share posts via social media as well as being able to post, edit and remove ads.

DoneDeal, founded in 2005 by Fred and Geraldine Karlsson, has experienced significant growth over the last year with over 200,000 adverts now active on the site at any one time, 100,000 new items advertised on the site each month and almost three million unique visitors to the website each month.
