PR Slides, the company founded by Emma Jane Power has announced it has received an additional €500,000 in VC funding.

Enterprise Ireland and Kernel Capital are joining Niall Harbison, Eamon Leonard, Johnny Walker and Julian Kulkarni to invest in the venture.

PR Slides aims to change how brands interact with media outlets by giving brands the opportunity to provide media outlets with high quality imagery.

Over 800 images from PR Slides are currently being used by various media outlets each month “resulting in thousands of euro worth of press coverage for their clients”.

Having grown from a team of one to a team of seven over the last year, PR Slides is hiring again with twenty new positions in the pipeline for 2014 as well as plans to open offices internationally.

“PR Slides is an example of an Irish start-up that has generated significant traction in acquiring clients such as Philips, Harvey Norman and Littlewoods Ireland. Its online portal has also attracted PR agencies themselves to use the service to increase broad media exposure for brands,” says Orla Rimmington, partner, Kernel Capital.

“I invested in and joined PR Slides because I saw huge global potential for a truly disruptive platform that could change an entire industry,” says Niall Harbison.
