SAP is to create 60 new jobs in Predictive Analytics. The new R&D roles will be based at SAP’s Citywest headquarters in Dublin.

SAP says it is looking for high quality software developers, data scientists and quality specialists to fill the new jobs.

Finding such skill sets is, however, becoming more difficult, a point not lost on SAP’s MD in Ireland.

“The technology sector is driving much of the recovery in the economy. To take advantage of these emerging job opportunities, we cannot become complacent. I would urge all stakeholders in Ireland’s education and employment sectors to work together to ensure we continue to have a healthy pipeline of talent and skill sets that meet the demands of our businesses,” says Liam Ryan, managing director, SAP operations in Ireland.

SAP is also recruiting in its Business Suite and Cloud Support divisions and expects to fill over 200 roles in 2014.
