A new golf smartphone app, which aims to help people improve their golf game and help golf coaches/pros book more clients, has been launched in Dublin.
Using geo-locational technology, the Simply Golf app makes booking a golf lesson in a nearby club easier for the golfer. The app also has a business management element for golf pros, allowing them to find and manage clients.

The golf tuition market in the U.S. alone is estimated at €1 billion and Colm Daly, CEO of Simply Golf says that following the launch in Ireland, the company aims to target the 54 million golfers worldwide by expanding to other international markets.
Simply Golf also announced that leading Irish PGA Tour professional – Shane Lowry – has been appointed as a brand ambassador for the app.
“Every amateur golfer that I play with would enjoy their golf an awful lot more if they got some lessons and had a few solid pointers about their golf game,” says Lowry.
The app is currently available on iOS with an Android app in development.
