‘Designs for Learning 2012’, an open competition to find game changing ideas around education, has been launched.

The competition, run by the NDRC Inventorium and Science Gallery Dublin, carries a cash prize of €10k for the finalists.

You can enter if you think you have a digital or tech-related idea that can help people to learn and will also bridge the gap between school and home.

“Many of these ideas have the potential to become sustainable and following the four week course, the head-to-head competition in The Science Gallery will result in some of the projects receiving further investment and support. First prize is a €5,000 with €3,000 going to second place and €2,000 to third place,” says the director of The Science Gallery, Michael John Gorman.
