Software testing firm SQS (Software Quality Systems), says it will expand its Irish office and create 20 specialist software jobs in 2012. The expansion will see experienced software quality engineers, software testing managers, performance engineers and software test analysts bring its Irish workforce to 120.
“Today’s announcement is positive news [and] is very much driven by the business needs and pipeline of activity that we are gearing up for in 2012,” says Phil Codd, managing director for SQS Ireland.
SQS tests software for a range of clients in Ireland including financial institutions, telecommunications companies, government bodies as well as high-tech and gaming firms. For the 2010 financial year ended the company generated sales of €162.9 million.
