A new online fashion store with a difference is launching in Ireland next month (May, 2012). Miinto.ie will be the Irish sister of the international Miinto.com, a site set up to allow smaller, independent fashion boutiques compete against the fashion retail giants.
“We believe will give independent fashion retailers a platform to start competing with the [fashion retail] web giants, who have gone unchallenged over the past few years in Ireland,” says James Galvin, MD. “This is also a way for consumers to support local businesses from the comfort of their own home.”
Galvin previously led Just-Eat.ie to success. Miinto.ie will launch in Ireland the first week of May with Irish fashion boutiques such as Indigo & Cloth, Sirona Boutique, Diffney, Lara’s Fashion Boutique and Blush Boutique.
The Miinto Group currently operates in seven countries with over 9,000 boutiques and 1,000 brands. It plans to continue its international expansion.
