Tesco's virtual Subway store in South Korea Tesco is the UK has upped its investment in social media marketing and will launch its first integrated YouTube channel.
Tesco already has various YouTube channels but its ‘Tesco Greener Living’ and ‘Tesco Mobile Network’ channels were last updated in 2010. The ‘Tesco.com TV’ channel was launched in 2007, but shown little love with just over 30 videos uploaded to it. Its ‘Tesco Real Food’ channel is the most loved with nearly 250 videos uploaded since mid-2010.
Tesco’s new integrated YouTube channel will gather all these channels together and content and design will be delivered by UK digital agency, Zone.
Tesco has a large presence on Facebook and Twitter. Its @UKTescoOffers feed has over 31,000 followers.
