Buffer is great, it allows you to schedule your social media content so that it is distributed to your audience over time. You simply connect Buffer to your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+ accounts, select how often you’d like to send out content, and then start adding to your queue. There’s nothing worse than seeing a company post a load of back-to-back tweets. Buffer allows you to spread the love over time. Very useful.
This great app is like Google Alerts on steroids. As a marketer you should be monitoring your name and the brand names of your clients for online mentions. And don’t forget the brands of your competition. You can achieve all of this with Mention and even get push notifications in real-time. Sweet.
This is the best tool for monitoring your website data. The Google Analytics app lets you check in on your site analytics, including real-time visitor reports, from your smartphone or tablet. The app isn’t as robust as the desktop version of Google Analytics, but its pretty good. Pretty, pretty good.
Hootsuite has been around for quite a while and is the premier social media management dashboard. The Hootsuite app is also great. If you manage many social media accounts, this is a must-have app.
Facebook Pages Manager
The Facebook Pages Manager app allows you to manage your pages, post fresh content, view page insights, check page notifications and more, all from one location. It also has push notifications, so you can be told of important updates right away.
If you are the owner of a shiny new app, or have updated your app recently, then you can enter The Appys 2014.
