If you fly Transatlantic on an Airbus A330 with Aer Lingus, you will now be able to pay extra to avail of high speed in-cabin web access. You will also be able to use your mobile phone and send texts.

Unlimited Wi-Fi use is from €10.95 for one hour and €19.95 for 24 hours. For GSM services, SMS and mobile data, roaming charges apply.

Aer Lingus is the third European airline to introduce internet access on transatlantic flights.

“Having direct internet access on long haul flights to cities such as New York, Boston, Chicago and San Francisco, will be of huge benefit to our customers, in particular to business customers. Feedback from trials has been extremely positive,” says Aer Lingus chief commercial officer, Stephen Kavanagh.
